Obama: Reporter is a liar, but...

The Obama camp is busy calling a reporter and John McCain a liar for this article that ran is yesterday's New York Post.

The reporter stated:

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq,
Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his
demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in
July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after
the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,"
Zebari said in an interview.

The Obama camp is stating that this is really what happened:

In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a
"Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after
President George W. Bush leaves office, she said.

Hello?

Isn't this the same thing?

Barack Obama overstepped his bounds while traveling his world concert tour. He decided that the Iraqis should wait for him to be in office and not worry about coming together with the US on a drawing down troops in Iraq.

How bogus is this?

He tells America he wants the troops out ASAP, but then attempts to delay the agreement process to withdraw troops from Iraq.
