Good idea, Senator

I believe that suspending his campaign and trucking back to Washington to force a resolution on the financial crisis is a good idea.

John McCain is right and he is attempting to reach a solution by next Monday morning. We cannot let this thing fester beyond Monday.

I think that this is even a smarter move than voting against the garbage the Democrats are trying to force down everyone’s throat. (I am no happier with Bush’s garbage either)

I cannot believe that it is John McCain that is forcing both sides of the aisle to sit down and work this out. Of course, this is not the first time McCain has forced both sides to sit down.

Good for him.

We absolutely cannot tack a bunch of garbage onto the rescue bill. Americans cannot afford it.

We cannot buy up all of those cars that folks are defaulting on, nor all of the student loans.

However, doing nothing will collapse.

We are a credit society. Banks cannot lend money they do not have. People cannot get to work, purchase food and other items when the banks have no money.

Shelter(as in homes) is a basic necessity of life.

Millions without jobs., without homes, without food… All because of greedy people on Wall street and in Washington.

I do not think every person quite understands this yet.

Gridlock in Washington, which is what we have right now, does not fix the problem.

John McCain and Barack Obama can go back to beating the crud out of each other on Monday.

In the mean time, I do not suspend my campaign against Senator Obama and Senator Biden.

PS: Edited to add... I just assumed Obama would go along with the plan to suspend the debate and the campaigns for a couple of days until everything is decided on. McCain did invite Obama to join him.

However, there is a hiccup. Obama's campaign is not sure they want to suspend the debate. I guess we will wait and see.
