No more excuses, Congress

For years, Democrats have been making excuses as to why the price of gas is going though the roof. They have also been making excuses as to why it is not their fault that gas prices are so high. One of those excuses is that there was a presidential moratorium on drilling.

President Bush just took that excuse away from today. The presidential moratorium has been lifted on drilling.

WASHINGTON - In another push to deal with soaring gas prices, President Bush on Monday will lift an executive ban on offshore drilling that his stood since his father was president. But the move, by itself, will do nothing unless Congress acts as well.

Now the only thing standing in the way of more oil production right here in the US are the Democrats in Congress.

There are no more excuses.
