Set 'em up to tear 'em down

99% of what we have heard in today's media about Mike Huckabee has been super positive. That was until today.

I am convinced that the media set up these candidates, just to tear them down.

The latest on Mike Huckabee (Associated Press)

Mike Huckabee once advocated isolating AIDS patients from the general public, opposed increased federal funding in the search for a cure and said homosexuality could "pose a dangerous public health risk."

As a candidate for a U.S. Senate seat in 1992, Huckabee answered 229 questions submitted to him by The Associated Press. Besides a quarantine, Huckabee suggested that Hollywood celebrities fund AIDS research from their own pockets, rather than federal health agencies.

Even more...

Also in the wide-ranging AP questionnaire in 1992, Huckabee said, "I feel homosexuality is an aberrant, unnatural, and sinful lifestyle, and we now know it can pose a dangerous public health risk."

I know the media is saying that Huckabee is a favorite among social Christian conservatives.

As a social Christian conservative myself, I have to say that I don't see it. I just have not seen a massive movement by Christians to support Mike Huckabee.

As a conservative, I am more worried about his tax plan than I am about his religion. This is true about all of the candidates.

We will see where this goes.
