I know I do not want my tax dollars paying for EMBRYONIC stem cell research, something I am morally opposed to. I am also encouraged by the President's executive order encouraging other forms of stem cell research.
"Once again, the Congress has sent me legislation that would compel American taxpayers, for the first time in our history, to support the deliberate destruction of human embryos," Mr. Bush said.

Don't get too comfortable. The ban on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research will end on January 20, 2009. Won't matter who replaces George the Idiot; the ban will end when he slinks back to Tex-ass.
