A very bad idea

I have to say that I am shocked by Governor Doyle's latest proposal-

Doyle considers tax on hospitals for Medicaid

Taxing the hospitals?

You tax the hospitals, the hospitals tax me. Which drives my health care costs even higher.

This idea is so bad, even some Democrats are opposed to it-

But Sen. Jeff Plale (D-South Milwaukee) is among those who oppose the idea.
"We're trying to drive health care costs down - not up," Plale said.

I guess I should not be shocked that Doyle is proposing this. In true democrat style, his first instinct is to raise taxes.
